Connect IGM serial port and computer serial port by using

the serial cable.

Run terminal emulator such as the hyper terminal and

switch on the IGM power.

When starting, press ‘c’ on the keyboard to start the

firmware upgrade mode.

Firmware Upgrade Mode is accessible only during the 2-

second initialization process, therefore ‘c’ needs to be

pressed immediately after initialization otherwise it will be

changed automatically to the existing firmware mode.
