Cleaning
Hood surfaces and displays are susceptible to scratches, so please clean with care following the
instructions below:
All surfaces should be cleaned using a soft cloth and water with a neutral detergent. Never use
abbrasive cleaning products or sponges. Dry all surfaces with a dry, soft cloth.
The display/control panel should only be wiped with a damp cloth to avoid water seeping into the
electric systems.
Never use
the products mentioned below for cleaning, as this may damage the appliance:
• cleaning agents containing soda, acid, chlorine or solvents.
• abbrasive cleaning agents, for example scouring powder or scouring pads. Be careful using
old pads that may still contain scouring powder.
REPLACING THE LED LIGHTING
Using an appropriate tool, remove the LED bar from its seat (refer to Fig. 19), disconnect it elec-
tronically using the appropriate connector then substitute it with a LED bar with same characte-
ristics.
WARRANTY AND SERVICE
A two year warranty on manufacture and material defects is granted on your new appliance valid
from the documented purchase date. The warranty includes materials, salary and transport.
When contacting service, please state the appliance model and serial number.
The warranty does not cover:
• Defects and damages not caused by manufacture and material defects.
• If unoriginal spare parts have been used to repair the product.
• If all instructions in the manual have not been followed.
• If the installation of the product has not been carried out in accordance with this manual.
• If unauthorized personnel has carried out installation or repair work on the product.
Delievery damages
A transport damage observed when the dealer delivers the appliance to the customer must be
settled between the customer and the dealer exclusively and does not involve the manufacturer
or supplier. If the transport has been carried out by the costumer, the manufacturer/supplier/
dealer cannot be held responsible for transport damages. All transport damages must be
reported no later than 24 hours after delivery, or all claims will be rejected.
Unnecessary service visits
If a service technician is called out to repair a defect and the customer could have corrected the
defect without help, e.g. by following the instructions in this manual or by replacing a fuse, the
customer must cover all service costs – even during the warranty period.
