6 Description of the Pump
In an average household 10 to 20% of the power consumption is caused by traditional standard
pumps. With the UP 70 pump series, we have developed a circulation pump which indicates
an energy efficiency index
≤
0.15. As a result of the employment of the UP Delta 70, energy
consumption can be lowered to approx. 80% with respect to a traditional circulation pump.
The hydraulic performance can be held almost similar with respect to standard pumps.
The pump performance adapts to the actual requirement of the system because it
works according to the proportional-pressure method.

Description of the operating elements
7.1 The
key
All functions of the pumps are controllable with only one key. Dependent on the
length of time the key is held pressed, the key activates different functions.
• Short key pressing (< 3 sec.):
Characteristic curve selection
• Long key pressing ( 8 - 13 sec.): Bleeding program
• Long key pressing (> 20 sec.): Keyboard lockout, cancelling of the keyboard lockout
