Storage Mode Settings Interface
Select a camera for which you want to configure quota.
Enter the storage capacity in the text fields of Max. Record Capacity (GB).
You can copy the quota settings of the current camera to other cameras if
required. Click the Copy button to enter the Copy Camera menu, as shown in
Figure 9-7.
Copy Settings to Other Camera(s)
Select the camera (s) to be configured with the same quota settings. You can also
click the checkbox of IP Camera to select all cameras.
Click OK to finish the Copy settings and back to the Storage Mode interface.
Click Apply to apply the settings.
If the quota capacity is set to 0, then all cameras will use the total capacity of HDD for
record.
HDD Detection
Purpose:
The device provides the HDD detection function such as the adopting of the
S.M.A.R.T. and the Bad Sector Detection technique. The S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring,
Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring system for HDD to detect and
report on various indicators of reliability in the hopes of anticipating failures.
