14.3 Maintenance

Here are some basic maintenance tasks that you can do yourself.
Allow your
T850 to cool for at least 1 hour before servicing.
•
7.3.1 Brake system maintenance:
Remember to apply lubricating oil regularly to both ends of the brake cable to
ensure its longevity and proper functioning.
If you brake too abruptly, the cable
should be less tight.
•
Use the 4mm Allen key provided.
•
Loosen the screw by turning it
counter-clockwise.
•
Push back the cable slightly towards the
handlebars to "give some slack”.
•
Tighten the screw by turning it
clockwise.
•
Repeat if necessary to fine-tune it
If the braking is too soft, the cable must be
retightened.
•
Use the 4mm Allen key provided.
•
Loosen the screw by turning it
counter-clockwise.
