Manual cold-water pre-rinse
Purpose:
This device serves to rinse off albuminous impurities (meat and blood residues) from the
utensils in order to prevent the albumin content from congealing on contact with the hot de-
tergent solution.
Application:
Before activating programme 1 or 2, keep pushbutton (8) pressed for approx. 10s in order to
pre-rinse the utensils with cold freshwater.
Note on manual re-dosing of detergent:
Please note that the concentration of detergent in the detergent solution decreases more
rapidly if you use the cold-water pre-rinse. You should therefore top up the detergent after
only 5 wash cycles if using this device on a permanent basis (see table on page 7).
