2.1.2 PS/2 for Keyboard & Mouse Connector
The IH7T-RK2U provides two PS/2 interfaces. The PS/2 connector supports
Keyboard and Mouse. In other cases, especially in embedded applications, a
mouse is not used.
You can change BIOS settings when the mouse is not used. Go to BIOS
standard setup menu and in the
“
Halt On
” menu select “All, But Keyboard”
.
This allows no-keyboard operation in embedded system applications without the
system halting under POST.

2.1.3 Serial Port Connector
There are two RS-232 connectors, and one COM port that can support
RS-232/422/485 (adjustable by jumper settings). Serial port terminals are
secured to the housing by screws.
