Step 7:
Pull off the electronic door fitting from the A-side with the spindle
fixed to it. Remove the adjustment sleeves from the door sash
where applicable.
Winkhaus is registered with disposal points for the electronic product range
in accordance with legal requirements. You can return the door fitting to
disposal points for electronic waste after revoking the access authorisations
and following correct disassembly (see 14 Disassembly) and material
separation (see below).
Separation of materials:
B-side: The handle set can be disposed of as scrap metal.
A-side: The handle and the sheet covering must be removed from the carrier
plate and the actuator. The carrier plate, with the actuator and electronics
without batteries, can then be returned to disposal points for special
electrical waste (see below).

and packaging
Disposal!
Environmental damage due to incorrect disposal of
batteries and electronic components!
– Do not dispose of batteries with normal domestic
waste! Faulty or used batteries must be disposed of
in accordance with the European directive 2006/66/
EG.
– The electronic door fitting must be disposed of cor-
rectly. Disposal as domestic waste is prohibited. The
electronic door fitting must therefore be disposed of
in accordance with the European directive 2012/19/
EU at a municipal collection centre for electronic
waste or via a specialist company.
– Alternatively, commercial customers may return the
electronic door fitting to Aug. Winkhaus GmbH & Co.
KG, Entsorgung/Verschrottung, Hessenweg 9, 48157
Münster. The device must be returned without the
battery.
Note!
The packaging must be recycled separately in accord-
ance with the separation regulations for packaging.
