Care and Cleaning
Honeycomb blinds are anti-static, dust resistant fabric.
For most honeycomb fabrics, the following options are available if your blind needs cleaning:
Please take care with the Blockout as the metallic coating inside is very delicate.
Dusting
Regular light dusting with a feather duster is all that is needed in most
cases.
Vacuuming
For deeper cleaning, vacuum gently with a brush attachment.
Spot Cleaning
Prepare a solution of warm water mixed with a mild detergent.
Dampen a clean cloth in the solution and wring it out well.
Dab the spot you want to clean with the dampened cloth until it is gone.
DO NOT rub the fabric.
Allow the blind to dry in the fully lowered position
Removal of Blind for cleaning
• Fully raise the blind.
• Unscrew the tab screw on each bracket to release
the head rail taking care not to fully unscrew it to
make replacement easier.
Before you install into brackets, release the cord lock by about 30 mm so that it is easier to
clip the blind into the back of the bracket. You should hear an audible click. You then need
to shift the fabric out of the way of the back of the headrail so you can tighten the screw up.
