4.4.10 Remote Access Configuration   

This sub menu allows you to enable or disable Remote access. If you select 

[Enabled], below items will show up: 

 

 

 

Serial port number: [COM1] 

 

This item allows you to select the serial port for console redirection. Make sure the 

selected port is enabled. 

       

Base Address, IRQ: [3F8h, 4] 

 

 

Serial Port Mode: [115200 8,n,1] 

 

This item allows you to select serial port settings.   

 

Flow Control: [None] 

 

This item allows you to select flow control for console redirection.   

 

Redirection After BIOS POST: [Disabled] 

 

This item allows you to set Redirection configuration after BIOS POST.   

[Always]: The console redirection is always active.   

[Boot Loader]: The console redirection is active during POST and Boot Loader. 

[Disabled]: Turns off the console redirection after POST.
