Operating the unit

Preparing for operation

First check the container of the hoover and clean it of waste material if necessary. Then check
the condition of the filters. The ash hoover has two types of filters: a rigid one equipped with a
rubber seal and a fabric filter. When dirty, the filters must be cleaned using compressed air at
no more than 3 bar pressure. If the contamination cannot be removed from the filters, the fil-
ters must be replaced with new ones. Check the condition of the seal integrated at the upper
edge of the rigid filter. If it is damaged, the filter must be replaced with a new one.

Notice!

It is forbidden to operate the hoover without a properly fitted air filter. This may dam-

age the hoover and also increases the risk of electric shock.

Small wheels can be attached to the base plate of the hoover. For this purpose, the pin of the
wheels must be pressed into the opening of the base plate (II).

There is a small metal chain on the bottom of the container (III). Check that it is in contact with
the base during operation, as this can dissipate electrical charge that has built up during oper-
ation.

The fabric filter is pulled over the rigid filter so that the fabric filter surrounds the rigid filter at
the top (IV). The filters are to be attached to the lower side of the cover so that the seal of the
stiff filter fits evenly (V). The gasket integrated at the top of the filter has a flange that allows
the filter to be securely fastened.

Mount the cover on the upper edge of the hoover tank so that it fits around the entire circum-
ference. Press the cover onto the tank using the snaps. There are two marked points on the
cover that help make this connection completely tight (VI).

Connect the elastic hose to the inlet. The hose connector must be inserted into the hole so
that its notches align with the bulges of the inlet, and then turned in the direction of the arrow
marked "lock" (VII). Make sure that the hose does not slip out of the hole during operation.
Connect the suction nozzle to the loose end of the hose by inserting it into the hose connector
(VIII).

Connect the suction nozzle to the free end of the hose by pushing it into the hose connector
(VIII).
