To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our clients
take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instruc-
tions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.

Please read and keep these important safety instructions for future reference.
When using electrical equipment, basic precautions should always be taken to reduce the risk
of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following:

Read all instructions thoroughly before using this heater.
•
Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.

The heater is not equipped with a device for room temperature control.
•
Do not use this heater in small rooms if there are people in the room who cannot leave the room
on their own, unless they are under constant supervision.
•
Children must not be near the device unless they are continuously supervised.
•
Children may only switch the appliance on/off if it has been correctly placed and installed in its
intended normal operating position and they receive appropriate instructions or supervision for
the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. children should not connect,
set, clean or maintain the device.
•
This device may be used by children aged 8 years or older and by people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have received adequate
supervision or detailed instructions for the safe use of the device and understand the hazards
associated with its use. Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user-
maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

If the power cord is damaged, it has to be replaced by a qualified technician. The cable must be
replaced before the device is put into operation in order to avoid any hazards.
•
Attention - some parts of this product may get very hot and create burns. Special attention is
required when children and vulnerable people are present.
•
In order to avoid overheating, the heater must under no circumstances be covered.
•
The heater must not be used if the glass panels are damaged.
•
The heater must not be installed directly below a wall socket.
•
Do not use this heater with an external programmed timer or any other device that automatically
turns the heater on, as there is a risk of fire if the heater is covered or incorrectly installed.
•
The heater gets hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not bring bare skin into contact with hot
surfaces. Keep flammable materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothing and
curtains at least 0.9 m (3 feet) from the front, sides and back of the heater.
•
Extreme caution is necessary when using this heater near children or disadvantaged people
and when leaving the heater unattended.
•
Always disconnect the heater from the mains when it is not in use.
