Direction of rotation check
for (3~) version only:
• If the phase sequence is incorrect, there is an
acoustic signal as well as an optical display by the
flashing of all LEDs from right to left (running
light) and the collective fault signal is active.
NOTE: To protect the pump from rotating in the
wrong direction, automatic start-up or switching
on by hand is not possible when the direction of
rotation check is triggered.
• If the direction of rotation is wrong, exchange two
phases with each other.
Inserting the rechargeable battery (accessory)
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
There is a danger of electric shock by touching
live components when working on the open
switchgear.
This work may only be carried out by qualified
personnel.
To insert the rechargeable battery, switch the
device so it is voltage-free and secure it against
being switched on again without authorisation.
CAUTION! Risk of property damage!
When using a normal battery, there is the risk
that it may drain damaging the switchgear.
Only use rechargeable batteries!
• Insert the rechargeable battery in the provided
holder. Make sure the polarity is correct.
• Fasten the rechargeable battery with the enclosed
cable tie (Figs. 4 and 5, item 3).
NOTE: The rechargeable battery must be fully
charged at the time of commissioning or must be
charged for 24 h in the switchgear.
8.1 Decommissioning
The unit must be decommissioned prior to main-
tenance or dismantling work.
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
There is a danger of electric shock by touching
live components when working on the open
switchgear.
This work may only be carried out by qualified
personnel.
Dismantling and installation
Dismantling and installation by qualified person-
nel only!
• Switch off automatic mode by pressing the Stop
button.
• Disconnect the switchgear/system from the
power supply and secure it against being switched
on again.
9 Maintenance
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
There is a mortal danger through shock when
working on electrical equipment.
• The system should be electrically isolated and
secured against unauthorised switch-on during
any maintenance or repair work.
• Work on the electrical part of the unit may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Before carrying out maintenance work and repairs,
observe the “Decommissioning” chapter.
The unit operator must make sure all the mainte-
nance, inspection and installation work is per-
formed by authorised and qualified personnel who
have informed themselves sufficiently by study-
ing the installation and operating instructions in
detail.
• If the switchgear is used in sewage lifting units,
maintenance is to be carried out by skilled person-
nel in accordance with EN 12056-4. The mainte-
nance intervals must not exceed:
• ¼ year in the case of commercial companies
• ½ year for units in multi-family houses
• 1 year for units in single-family houses.
• Carry out a visual inspection of the electric sec-
tion.
• A maintenance report must be issued.
NOTE: When drafting a maintenance plan, expen-
sive repairs can be avoided and a fault-free oper-
ation of the system can be achieved with a
minimum of maintenance effort. Wilo's customer
service is available for commissioning and mainte-
nance work.
After maintenance and repair work, install and
connect the unit as described in the chapter
“Installation and electrical connection”. Switch on
the system as described in the “Commissioning”
chapter.
