Using the scales
1.
Place the scales on an even, flat surface, carpet, tiles or linoleum.
2. Select pounds (lb) or kg with the switch on the underside of the appliance when
it is the correct way up.
3. Press your foot lightly on the scales and wait until “0.0” is displayed or allow
them to turn off before mounting the scales to weigh yourself. This must be
done everytime the scales are moved.
4. Mount the scales (the display will flicker) and your weight will be shown in the
display. The scales will automatically turn off after displaying your weight for
approx. 5 second.
Useful tips
Your scales are a precision, electronic instrument. One of the most difficult things
to weigh is the human body because it is always in motion. Therefore the best
achievable accuracy is 99% of total body weight. To ensure a correct reading
always place your feet on the same place on the scales and stand still.
Never immerse the scales in water. Use a damp cloth or glass cleaning agent to
clean its surface.
