PROCEDURES:
1.
Connect AquaCount to top of gauging rod.
2.
Press the
ON/SELECT
button.
3.
Screens will show
1-1
and
000.0
4.
Press “
Count
” and screens will show
1-1
and
40.0
.
5.
Place current meter at desired location in the stream and press “
Count
” again to begin
measurement.
6.
After at least 40 seconds the meter will stop counting and display the number of revolutions and
time. Record the revolutions and time (rounded to the nearest second) on a discharge measurement
form.
7.
Press “
Count
” again and it will display the velocity in feet/second. Record velocity on a
discharge measurement form.
8.
Go back to step 2 for next measurement.
MAINTENANCE:
Replace battery when needed.
Wipe with dry soft cloth before storing.
