5. Record of probe calibration
Our quality probes are the key to the precision and quality of your
measurements. To facilitate the exchange of a probe without a loss
of pre cision, our probes are measured at WIKA and given a code
that defines the characteristic line of the individual probe. The
code is marked on a highly visible label fitted to the probe.
If you change the probe you have to enter the new code into the
measuring instrument. In order to avoid any problems later on
(esp. if the probe is installed somewhere not easily acces sible,
or if there are several of such external probes in use), we recom-
mend you note down the data of the probe in use.
