Set up
1. Plug power cord into wall outlet.
2. Switch on the scale by pressing the “ON” button.
3. Place the refrigerant tank at the centre of the platform.
4. Connect one end of the charging hose to the “INPUT” and the other end to refrigerant
tank.
5. Connect one end of the charging hose to the “OUTPUT” and the other end to either the
manifold or to the A/C system.
6. Open the valve of the refrigerant tank and purge air from hoses.
Programming
1. Press the “SET” button, and the LCD will display zero.
2. Enter the amount by pressing the “
▲
” or “
▼
” button. When dispensing larger amount, in
order to increase the speed, press and hold the “
▲
”or “
▼
” button for 5 seconds.
3. Press the “SET” button again. The scale will return to weight model.
Charging
1. When the programming is completed, press the “GO/ HOLD” button to start charging. A
“CLICK” will be heard as the solenoid opens, and refrigerant starts to flow.
2. The amount will start to decrease indicating the weight dispensed.
Caution
:
will be displayed if the charging amount is not set or the refrigerant tank is
empty.
3. If the refrigerant tank empties before the programmed charge is reached, press the
GO/HOLD key again to stop the operation.
4. Close the empty tank valve, disconnect the hose, replace the tank and reconnect to the
valve.
5. Press
the
GO/HOLD
key again. The solenoid valve will ‘click” open.
6. When the programmed amount of refrigerant has been charged, the solenoid valve will
close and the charging mark will disappear.
7. Check the display: when the target charge or maximum allowable charge is reached, the
scale will back to weight measurement model and display the current reading.
8. If there is a need to release the refrigerant in the charging hose when the charging
procedure is over, please press the “FORCE” button.
9. When the operation is completed, close the refrigerant tank valve, the manifold valve or
the recovery machine. Press the “OFF” button to turn off the scale. Remove the refrigerant
tank from the scale platform and from the manifold or recovery hoses.
