Each module has the LEDs RUN and MF on its front side. Errors or incorrect modules may be located
by means of these LEDs.
In the following illustrations flashing LEDs are marked by

.
Sum current of the electronic power supply exceeded
Behavior:
After PowerON the RUN LED of each module is off and the MF LED of each module is spo-
radically on.
Reason:
The maximum current for the electronic power supply is exceeded.
Remedy:
As soon as the sum current of the electronic power supply is exceeded, always place the
power module PW 24 V/5 V. See also 5.3.3 Wiring power modules, p. 28
Configuration error
Behavior:
After PowerON the MF LED of one module respectively more modules flashes. The RUN
LED remains off.
Reason:
At this position a module is placed, which does not correspond to the configured module.
Remedy:
Match configuration and hardware structure.
Module failure
Behavior:
After PowerON all of the RUN LEDs up to the defective module are flashing. With all fol-
lowing modules the MF LED is on and the RUN LED is off.
Reason:
The module on the right of the flashing modules is defective.
Remedy:
