Service life of the machine
•
The useful life of this machine depends on correct operation and maintenance, as well as the deployment and
operating conditions.
•
Continuous operational readiness and a long useful life of the machine can be achieved by following the instructions
and notes in these operating instructions.
•
Once the season is over, the machine should be checked thoroughly for wear and any other damage.
•
Damaged and worn components should be replaced before using the machine again.

General safety instructions
•
Observe the generally applicable safety and accident prevention regulations as well as the notes in these operating
instructions!
•
Familiarize yourself with all equipment and operating elements and their functions before starting work. Ensure that all
protective equipment has been properly installed.
•
In the working area, the user is responsible for the safety of other persons.
•
Always observe local road traffic regulations when using public roads.
•
When driving outside of the working area shut off the lawn mower and put it into the transport position.
•
Check the immediate surroundings before driving (children!)!
•
Keep all persons clear of the danger zone of the machine!
•
Only attach the machine when the engine is at a standstill and the P.T.O. drive is switched off.
•
Only use the cardan shaft allocated to the machine.
•
Special care should be taken when working and turning on a slope.
•
The driving and operating properties of the tractor may be influenced by the attachment of the machine! Always adapt
your driving style to match the terrain and ground conditions. Special care should be taken when working and turning

•
Before mowing remove any foreign objects from the lawn. When mowing look out for foreign objects.
•
In case of blockages occurring switch off the mower, secure it and clean it using an appropriate device (wooden stick).
•
In case of disturbances (vibrations) or when ramming an obstacle, switch off the mowing drive, shut off the engine
(withdraw the ignition key or the spark plug connector) and check the machine, especially the cutting tools, for
damages.
•
Damaged blades have to be replaced.
•
When working on the cutting tools take safety measures for preventing injuries (e.g. gloves).
•
Blunt blades should be resharpened and balanced by a specialist. Periodical checks are required.
•
Switch the machine and the motor of the tractor off and remove the ignition key before carrying out maintenance.
•
Use your personal protective equipment (PPE) for work, such as:
•
Work gloves;
•
Safety shoes;
•
Breathing protection;
•
Ear protectors;
•
Face and eye protection, etc.
