Disposal

Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances (to be used in the countries of the European Union
and other European countries with a separate collection system for these appliances). The symbol on the
product or its packaging points out that this product must not be treated as normal household waste and
must be transferred to a collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. Material re-
cycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials. You can obtain more information on the recy-
cling of this product from your local council or local waste disposal operators.

Assembly

The appliance is suitable for being fitted to walls and for fitting feet for installation on the floor

(except for Thermatic Slim). We recommend installing the appliance next to the window and, if
possible, in front of the window. The cold air which lowers there is heated in the appliance and

brought into circulation by means of convection. If the appliance can only be installed in another location,
we recommend installing it against a free wall surface so that the appliance heats the wall surface and, in
addition to circulation, a large radiant heating surface is achieved.

Depending on the configuration ordered, the accessories kit provided includes attachment parts for the

wall suspension, spacers, supporting feet or brackets and the fastening material.

Floor-mounted appliances

In order to fasten the supporting feet (11), the hexagon screws (12) attached to the interior of the subfloor

in the centre must be removed. Subsequently screw the supporting feet (11) with the wing screws (9) on
the bottom of the appliance into the M6 threaded holes. A tool is required for this.

Wall mounting:

Adopt the drilling dimension

F

 from the table

(page 12)

and calculate the suspension point based on the

vertical mean dimension of the appliance.
Draw the hole

B

with a suitable pen on the wall and drill a 50 mm hole for the wall holder using an 8 mm

drill. Following this, insert the dowels

 (1)

and drive them flush into the drilled holes. Then fasten the two

wall fixing brackets

(2)

 using the screws

(3)

 and washers

(5)

.

To mount the spacers

(6)

, mark the drilled holes on the wall in accordance with the drilling dimensions

A

 and

and drill a 50 mm hole for each of the spacers using an 8 mm drill.

Now insert the dowels

 (1)

and drive them flush into the drilled holes. Then fasten the two spacers using

the screws

(3)

 and washers
