The following instructions are recommended
for the best rece
ption:
1.
Using your mobile phone as
a sig
n
al meter,
confir
m that either your attic or your
roof will deliver optimal signal strength
to the Signal Aerial
. Identify the best
locati
on for atta
chment of the mounting br
acket – such as
an attic cross or main
beam.
2.
Secure the mounting bracket at the highest
possible
point and at le
ast 1 me
te
r away
from metal objects such as pipe
s,
metal siding, A/C unit etc.
3.
Position the mo
unting bracket such that the Si
gnal Aerial will be vertical and attach
the Signal Aerial (
see fi
gur
e 7
).
4.
Conne
ct the
supplie
d coaxial cab
le
to
the base of
the Signal Aerial.
5.
Run the coaxial cable along a de
scending
pipe or
through a wall that that leads
closest to the location of the Base Unit.
NOTE
: Refrain from securing cab
le or drilling
holes until the syst
em has
bee
n tes
ted.
6.
From the other end, connect the coax cable it to the Bas
e
Unit.
7.
Connect the Base Unit Aerial to t
h
e Ba
se
Unit and position it ve
rt
ical
ly.
8.
Choose the a
ppropriate power supply option
for your location, connect the Power
Supply to the Ba
se Unit and plug
into a power outlet.
