Programs – Choose, change, store, or delete, sets of option or feature settings.
Select – Choose a Program from those already existing in the basic list.
Save – Save a custom set of options you have completed.
Restore / Load – Restore any program that has previously been SAVED.
New / Copy – Create a new program starting with an existing Program.
Rename - Change an existing Program’s name.
Erase – Delete a Program.
Setup – Special features for Expert Program manipulation.
Library – Manipulate Library Programs.
Discrimination – Choose features that are used in the rejection of unwanted targets.
Visual Reject – “X” Prevents rejected VDI numbers and their associated Icons from appearing on display.
Bottle Cap Reject – (Off – 20) – Adjusts iron rejection (how aggressively iron is rejected). 20 = most
aggressive iron rejection, 1 = least, off = no added iron bias.
Hot Rock – (OFF - +10) – Adjust mineral anomalies (VDI +95) cancellation or identifi cation (hot rock)
rejection. -10 = most aggressive, off = no additional hot rock bias (all VDI numbers treated equally),
+10 = slight increase in +95 signal strength.
VDI Selected By – Selects different methods of adjusting trash metal rejection.
Icon Table – Select sets of Icons specifi c to different types of searching.
Sensitivity – Choose and/or adjust features that determine sensitivity.
Rx Gain – (1 – 15) 15 = highest. Select the Preamp level for stable performance and minimum overload
indications.
Tx Boost – (On / OFF) Over-power the search coil to supercharge depth. Note; Causes rapid battery
discharge and is susceptible to noise and overload.
Discrimination – (1 – 100) 100 = highest. Responsiveness (sensitivity) to metal targets when using the
Discrimination mode (Motion Mode).
All Metal – (1 – 100) 100 = highest. Sensitivity of the pinpoint and all other non-discrimination (All Metal)
modes & features including Mixed Mode and VCO.
Audio – Choose and/or adjust features that control the sound (audio output).
Target Volume - Select how loudly a metal target beeps depending upon the audio output method.
Audio Threshold – Independently selects the background hum (threshold level) normally heard during
searching.
Tone – Adjust the pitch or tone independently among the different audio indications.
Search Audio – Select the type of audio output or mode for primary searching.
Pinpoint Audio – Select audio options specifi c to Pinpoint (trigger squeezed)
Wireless Headphone – Select options specifi c for use of the wireless headphones.
