Remove the plug before accessing the drain pump.
The water in the pump may be hot, allow the machine to cool before removing the pump cover.

The drain pump filter prevents foreign objects from entering the drain pump.
The filter should be cleaned periodically to ensure the normal operation of the appliance.
If heavily soiled items are washed regularly then the filter will need cleaning more often.
The pump filter should be inspected if the machine does not empty and/or spin.

If the machine makes an unusual noise whilst draining, there may be foreign objects in the pump.
To remove the objects:

Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter

1.Disconnect the appliance.
2.If necessary, wait until the water has cooled down.
3.Open the Service Panel.
4.Place a shallow container under the outlet.
5.Slowly turn the Pump Cover anti-clockwise. Collect the water that is released.
6.When no more water comes out, remove the Pump Cover.
7.Remove any objects from the pump and check that the impeller rotates.
8.Replace the Pump Cover and fully tighten it clockwise.
9.Close the Service Panel.

Gently pull the detergent drawer forwards and then:
1.Press down the arrow located on the conditioner

compartment cover and remove the drawer from
the appliance.

2.Lift the clip up and remove the conditioner compartment

cover.

3.Thoroughly wash all the compartments and grooves

with warm water.

4.Replace the conditioner compartment cover.
5.Slide the detergent drawer back into the appliance.

The water inlet filters should be cleaned if there is
not any or insufficient water entering the machine
when the water tap is open.

1.Close the water tap.
2.Select a wash program.
3.Press the “Start/Pause” button and allow the machine to

run for about 40 seconds.

4.Remove the inlet pipe from the tap.
5.Clean the filter, in the end of the inlet pipe, with water.
6.Reconnect the inlet pipe.

1.Remove the inlet pipe from the rear of the appliance.
2.Pull out the filter from the appliance inlet, with a pair of long

nosed pliers.

3.Clean the filter and replace it into the inlet.
4.Reconnect the inlet pipe.
5.Open the water tap and check that there is no water leakage.
6.Close the water tap.
Note: The tap filter should be cleaned first.

Cleaning the Detergent Drawer

When the appliance is in use and depending on the program selected,
there could be hot water in the pump. Never remove the Pump Cover during a wash cycle,
always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle and is empty.
When replacing the Pump Cover ensure that it is securely tightened to prevent any leaks.
