• Check that tank is filled with water
• Put the iron in vertical position
• Plug the appliance in
• Wait till the iron has reached desired temperature : if thermostat temperature is not high
enough, water can escape from the soleplate
• Press selector knob (3) to let steam escape from soleplate
• If you want continuous steam ironing, place selector knob (3) on

• Follow instructions described in STEAM IRONING
• Put selector knob (3) on
• Hang the iron vertically at 5 to 15 cm from garment
• Press selector knob (3) to let steam come out
• Never point the iron towards people
• Vertical ironing is specially used for removing creases from hanged clothes and curtains.
• Do not press continuously the selector knob more than once every 2 seconds to avoid
water leakage from soleplate
