TO INSTALL PLATES :
- Slide the middle sections of the handles outwards and put the cooking plate in the
recesses.
Note: The top and bottom cooking plates are shaped differently.
The upper plate is marked with TOP. The other one has to be placed on the bottom of the
appliance.
The plates are marked with R (right) and L (left) on the plates release buttons.

Note: unpleasant smell or temporary smoke can occur during initial use. It’s normal.
• Prepare the non-stick coating surface by applying a thin coat of cooking oil and wiping
over with paper toweling. Re-seasoning is recommended every few months.
• Plug the appliance.
• Put 0/I button, to I position. Thermostat 1 light indicator lights on in red. Appliance starts
heating.
• When appliance is hot, “temperature light indicator” lights on in red. Appliance is ready
to use.
• Thermostat buttons are from 1 to 5, (1 is the lower temperature and 5 is the highest
temperature).
• Press Heat button to increase temperature.
• If the appliance has not reached desired temperature, “temperature light indicator”
lights off and the appliance starts heating again.
