Wait until the fondue is completely cool before storing.
If the pan is stored with cold oil in it remember to place it in a safe place. It is a good idea to cover
the oil to avoid contamination such as dust.
Do not add very ‘wet’ food into hot frying oil. Very ‘wet’ food can cause the oil to ‘foam’ and may
overflow.
Food for fondue frying should be cut roughly of the same size to ensure the food cooks evenly
and thoroughly.
Many types of food can be coated before fondue frying - typical coatings are batter or
breadcrumbs.
Always wait until the fondue oil has reached the desired temperature before adding the food.
Do not overfill the pan.
