16.  Monitoring the WhisperGen using a 

computer. 

 

This option provides monitoring of the WhisperGen by a personal computer and “Micromon MO” 
software which shall be used to aid commissioning of the WhisperGen.

The Micromon MO software allows:

all variables in the 

Extra Info Menu 

to be viewed on screen at the same time, instead of one 

at a time on the control panel.

the recording of a log file detailing the readings of the WhisperGen sensors.  This is useful for 

fault solving. 

 
 Micromon MO software will run on a personal computer which is a minimum of an IBM 386 or 

compatible. 

 
 To install the Micromon MO software follow the instructions in the “DoReadMe.txt” file on the 

supplied disk.  Instructions for connecting the computer to the WhisperGen are in this file.
