10.3 – Micro Switch:
The Micro Switch is a security device that prevents Dryer operation when the Door is open. It is located inside
the Front Panel, in the upper right corner.
To test the switch, disconnect the wires from the leads and check continuity.
Apply the probes of a Multimeter to the Micro Switch leads and
push
its stem to close the contacts. These
contacts will be open when the stem
is not pushed
.

The Micro Switch must be replaced together with its support, in order to avoid any damages to the switch.
10.4 – Temperature Selector Switch (Normal/Delicate):
The Temperature Selector Switch can be found inside the Instrument Support, in the left side of Dryer.
When this Switch
is pushed
, the Dryer operates in the Gentle Cycle, i.e. at a temperature of 45ºC. When the
Switch
is released
, the Dryer operates in the Normal Cycle, i.e. at a temperature of 60ºC.
To check the switch with a Multimeter check the continuity between the terminals as the chart below:
