40 or 25 minutes rest time indication
SUBJECT:
In a 1h40min. programme the machine runs around 10minutes and then jumps to a resttime indication of 40 or
25 minutes. This doesn’t depend on the amount of laundry inside the machine.
The reason in some cases is due to a residual of fabric softener covering and coating the 2 metal stripes of the humidity
sensor. This simulates a rest humidity resulting in 40 or 25 minutes cycle time.
REMEDIAL ACTION
Measure the ohmic value between the 2 metal stripes. If the ohmic value is less than 1M ohm exchange the humidity sensor.
