HOW TO CLEAN
•
In dishwasher, wash with other cooking
utensils.
•
Dry completely.
•
Do not use abrasive or harsh cleansers.
•
Lift up the cooktop. (See “Lift-up cooktop”
earlier in this section.)
•
Wipe off spills immediately after burner
has cooled.
For cooked-on food:
•
Remove burner from manifold with Phillips
screwdriver.
•
Wash with warm, soapy water and a
plastic scrubbing pad or soak in vinegar
and water solution.
•
Rinse and dry well.
•
If ports are clogged, clean with a straight
pin. Do not enlarge or distort ports. Do
not use a wooden toothpick.
•
Do not clean surface burner in dishwasher.
•
Wash, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
•
Do not clean in Self-Cleaning cycle
(See “Before you start” in the “Using
the Self-Cleaning Cycle” section.)
•
Wash, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
OR
•
Leave in oven during Self-Cleaning
cycle.
NOTE: Racks will permanently discolor
and become harder to slide if left in oven
during Self-Cleaning cycle. Apply a small
amount of vegetable oil to the side rungs
to aid sliding.
