vicing unit.

electrical shock.
CAUTION:
When you work on the cooktop, be
careful when handling the sheet metal parts.
Sharp edges may be present, and you can cut
yourself if you are not careful.
REMOVING THE CERAMIC GLASS MAINTOP
1.
Turn off the electrical power to the cooktop.
Refer to Figure 3-8 for the following steps.

Remove the control knobs from the con-
trol stems.
3.
Remove the fourteen (14) screws from the
ceramic glass maintop frame and lift the
maintop off the burner box.
NOTE: If you are replacing the maintop, re-
move the four rubber grommets from the con-
trol stem holes.
