5. Assembly, adjustment, and disassembly
5.3. Adjustment procedures
The following device adjustments can be made to meet the user's seating needs.
•
Arm length:

Switching the left and right sides of the control pad:

•
Seat height:

•
Back support height:

Back support angle:

Tools are necessary for adjusting the arm length, seat height, or back support height/angle. Use the specified tools.
WARNING
Perform adjustment on a flat and level surface with the battery removed and brakes locked.
There is a risk of accident.
Do not touch the connectors directly, allow them to become wet, or bring any metal or other
foreign objects close to them. Ensure that there are no foreign objects when assembling.
There is a risk of injury or electric shock as well as damage to the device or its components.
CAUTION
When adjusting the device, grab only the handle and part as described in this manual, and do
not hold the device by any other areas.
There is a risk of hand injury if it gets caught in the device.
Pay attention to the following and perform adjustment in order to ensure safe use.
There is a risk of accident.
• Adjust the seating of the device to fit the user's body before use.
• Make sure to retighten the adjusting bolts.
• Do not make adjustments while on the device.
• Before performing adjustment, ensure battery is removed from the device.
• Do not shake the removed control pad.
• Do not press forcefully on the components.
