IMPORTANT:

Installation will require the installer to select  a flat

mounting  surface  sufficient  to  accommodate  the  physical
dimensions of this light. Also keep in mind that the metal heat sink
will  get  warm,  so  it  should  have  some  clearance  for  radiant
cooling. Wire the light using the diagram below.

Installation
1.

Cut  a  7.29  inch  diameter  clearance  hole  into  the  mounting
surface.

2.

Using the wiring diagram shown below, connect the wires of
the light to their appropriate designation.

NOTE: Be sure to

follow the fusing guidelines shown. If Low Power is not
used, insulate the unused VIOLET wire.

Traditional Dimming:

Connect the WHITE and VIOLET wires to a Single
Pole / Double Throw (Center Off) Switch (customer
supplied) as shown. Fuse this switch @ 3A. Connect
the BLACK wires to Chassis Ground.

Optional Mounting:

Permanent mounting is possible if your
flange was ordered equipped with 4
mounting holes in the flange. Using the
flange as a template, mark the 4
mounting hole locations. Remove the
flange and drill appropriately sized
mounting holes, based on the thickness
of the mounting surface and the #10
mounting screws provided. Secure the
light using the hardware provided.

Waterproof butt splices and/or connectors are required if that
connection could be exposed to moisture. Any unused wires
must be sealed (waterproofed) to prevent moisture infiltration.

3.

Bend the retention clips forward as shown. Insert the light into
the  mounting  hole  allowing  the  retention  clips  to  snap  back
against the mounting surface, securing the light.

Operation:

When wired as shown, the light will operate as follows:

Ap12VDC to the High Power WHITE wire (via the SP/
DT switch) will activate the light at full intensity (100%).

Ap12VDC to the Low Power (VIO) wire (via the SP/DT
switch) will activate the light at reduced intensity (10%).
