PREPARATION BEFORE USE
Battery Connecting

Connect the red clip of the cable to the
positive (+) and the black clip to the negative (-)
terminal of the battery..

Connect the cable plug to the power cable
port on the reel body. Then fasten the screw ring
finger-tight.

When the battery is connected correctly before the first
line-data input, the LCD displays the message shown in Fig. 3.

If there is already line data stored the LCD will display
the message shown in Fig. 4.

appear within 5 minutes when there is sufficient charge in the
battery. If the message does not disappear the battery needs
to be replaced or re-charged.
If you have already saved a ‘Bait-at-Hand’ or ‘Water-Surface-
Zero’ stop position for safety reasons, a motorized line retrieve is only possible when the released line length
exceeds the saved stop position.

* Data such as the ‘Bait-at-Hand’ position, the ‘Water-Surface-Zero’ position and the target depth are stored in
the microprocessor‘s memory for 10 minutes after disconnection of the battery. This data must be re-entered
and saved if the reel has been disconnected from the power supply for more than 10 minutes.
