Troubleshooting
If the solar garden lantern does not light up after several sunny days
with direct sunlight, please check the following possible causes for
the defect:
The solar modules are soiled. Clean them.
Foreign light sources such as street lamps, automobile headlights
or illuminated address lights may temporarily switch off the solar
garden lantern.
The rechargeable battery is defective. To replace the battery, turn
the lamp head counter clockwise and remove it. Open the battery
compartment and insert the new battery. Pay attention to the
proper polarity. Operate the solar garden lantern only with a 1.2 V
NiMH rechargable battery of the size HR6 (AA) with a capacity of
at least 600 mAh.
Cleaning
Wipe the solar garden lantern with a lightly moistened cloth. Use
detergent as needed. Do not immerse the garden lantern in water
or any other liquid.
Do not clean the garden lantern with aggressive chemicals or
abrasives in order not to damage the surfaces.
