Important Note on Installation
Drive the spike into the ground vertically and make sure it has a firm stand
to ensure the unit is safely upright and protected from splashing water.
Connect the unit only to a socket which is earthed according to the regula-
tions and corresponds to the requirements of IP 44.
Make sure the lids on the sockets which are not used close tightly and
make sure no foreign object is between lid and socket.
The unit is only guaranteed to be splash proof if the plugs used with the
unit are according to the same standard (IP44).
Replacing the Power Cable
The power cable may only be replaced or reconnected by a qualified elec-
trician.
Before opening the housing, disconnect from the power mains and make
sure it is actually free from current. Before starting work secure the unit
against reconnection.
The power cable must be replaced with a cable of at least the type
H07RN-F 3G1.5.
The power plug must be replaced with a power plug which corresponds to
the requirements of IP44.
