Using
Taking Measurements
1. Set the ON/OFF switch (2) to the “
ON
” position to switch on the
Digital Lux Meter.
2. Set the range switch (5) to the desired measuring range.
3. Hold the sensor unit (7) horizontally ensuring that the light hits
the light sensor (6) vertically. Avoid shadows of your own body in
direction of the sensor.
4. Read the measuring value indicated on the display (1).
5. After measuring, set the ON/OFF switch to the “
OFF
” position to
switch off the Digital Lux Meter.
Notes:
In the measuring range “
x1
”, the indicated value corre-
sponds to the intensity of light in Lux. In the measuring range “
x10
”
respectively “
x100
”, you have to multiply the indicated value on the
display by 10 respectively by 100 to determine the correct light
intensity.
In case the overflow indication “
1
” appears on the display, please set
the range switch to the next measuring range to determine the
correct light intensity.
Cleaning and Storing
Only use a soft, lit free cloth to clean the unit. Do not use aggres-
sive chemicals or abrasives.
Thoroughly dry the unit after cleaning and make sure that no
liquids enter the housing.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the
battery.
Store the unit indoors in a place that is protected from humidity,
dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
Store the unit out of reach of children.
