IV
To avoid malfunction, damage, and physical injury, please note the following safety
advice:
9
Do not use the units outdoors; they are neither splash nor drip proof. The units are
only intended for use indoors.
9
Do not use the units to power electric tools. The adapters are only intended for ohmic
consumers such as lights or heaters with a power consumption of up to 1000 W.
9
Only connect the adapters to wall sockets earthed according to regulations.
9
The adapters are not suitable for safely disconnecting consumers from the power
mains. This means that before undertaking work on any connected device (e.g.
changing illuminants), the device must be disconnected from the adapter.
9
Do not disassemble the unit; it does not contain parts serviceable by you.
9
In the case of problems or further questions, please turn to our customer support
department; please do not attempt to repair the units yourself.
Operation:
Inserting the Battery
The battery compartment is on the back of the remote control. Press the latch with one
finger and flip the battery compartment open. Place a battery A23 (12 V
) in the
battery compartment. Please observe correct polarity. After that, close the cover.
Setting the Channel
On the back of each adapter socket there is a turn knob for the channel selection (Unit).
Use a correct size slotted screwdriver for manipulations. With the 5 channels at your
disposal, you can assign a channel to each socket or operate several on the same
channel. To avoid interference with other systems, just change to another channel.
Operation
After setting the channels, plug the adapter sockets into wall sockets earthed according to
regulations. After that, plug the consumer into the adapter socket. The LED on the front of
the adapter states the condition (ON/OFF) of the adapter. Use the buttons 1 to 5 on the
remote control to turn the corresponding adapter(s) on or off. The button 1 switches the
adapter set to channel 1, the button 2 the adapter set to channel 2 and so forth.
