2.2 Inserting/Changing the Batteries
To activate the unit, remove the insulating plastic strip on the back.
If the battery symbol
is displayed, the batteries should be replaced, be-
cause they can not provide enough energy for precise measuring. Slide the
battery compartment cover (8) off in the direction of the arrow and remove the
two batteries (LR44 / AG13).
Replace the spend batteries with fresh ones of the same type and dimensions.
Please observe correct polarity (symbols in the battery compartment / plus
side up). After that, close the battery compartment cover (8).
If no button is pressed is pressed the unit will turn off after 15 minutes.
