As an EV user, you can have a great influence on the actual range achieved. Smooth acceleration and
minimized use of accessory loads, such as the heater, will greatly increase your range between battery
charges. As an example, driving at a constant speed, which puts a stable load on the battery,
is much more efficient compared to driving with hard acceleration and braking. Although lithium ion
phosphate batteries are among the longest lasting batteries on the market, they will eventually hold less
charge and have to be fully or at least partially replaced.
4.8 Tire Pressure
Check tire pressure each time you fill up with fuel. Maintain tire pressure of 35 psi (241 kPa)
– front; and
35 psi (241 kPa)
