WARNING
Never operate the generator if powered
items overheat, electrical output drops,
there is sparking, fl ames or smoke
coming from the generator, or if the
receptacles are damaged.
Always remove any tools or other
service equipment used during
maintenance from the generator before
operating.
The muffl er becomes very hot during
operation and remains hot after
stopping the engine.
• Never touch hot surfaces and avoid
hot exhaust gases.
• Let engine cool before storing the
generator indoors.
Battery gases are explosive.
Never allow open fl ames, lit cigarettes,
sparks or spark-producing equipment
near the battery.
Battery electrolyte fl uid is comprised of
sulfuric acid, which can cause severe
burns.
Never allow battery electrolyte fl uid
to contact eyes, skin or clothing.
If contact or spillage of electrolyte
occurs, immediately fl ush the area with
water.
