2.4.2 Using WEST with Fuel Level Transducers
In addition to communicating with the engine controllers, WEST is
used to calibrate the fuel level transducers (CANditioners). For instructions

2.5 File Types Used in WEST
WEST uses eight kinds of file types. In this section, a summary of the
different file types and their usage is explained.
.a2w Used for custom configuration. This file determines which parameters
are available for monitoring.
.scal Contains the CM850 controller software that users can download into
an CM850 controller using WEST.
.txt File type that data logs are saved to.
.cfg Configuration file.
.xrv Used to select parameters when using the Real-time Graph, and to
select parameters in real-time views.
.tdl Backup data log file for Real-time Data View.
.edl Backup data log file for Real-time Graph View.
.tdx Backup of previous data log file for Real-time Data View.
.edx Backup of previous data log file for Real-time Graph View.
