CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water
or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
2.
All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices,
vinegar and strongly
fl
avored/colored foods. Avoid contact with acids citrus
juices.
3. Always use the scale on a hard,
fl
at surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
TO START WEIGHING
WEIGHING MODE
1.
Place the scales on a
fi
rm, level surface.
2.
Place bowl (if used) on the scale.
3.
Press [ZERO/MODE] key to activate the scales.
4.
Wait until LCD shows ‘0’. Press [ZERO/MODE] button to convert to weight mode.
5.
If using a container to weigh items, load the container onto the scale - the LCD
will display the weight of the container. Press and hold the [ZERO] button until
---- is displayed on the LCD then release the button. The LCD will display ‘0’. The
scale is now ready to weigh the contents only minus the weight of the container.
VOLUME INDICATION MODE
1.
Place the scales on a
fi
rm, level surface.
2.
Place bowl (if used) on the scale.
3.
Press [ZERO/MODE] key to activate the scales.
4.
Wait until LCD shows ‘0’. Press [ZERO/MODE] button to convert to volume mode.
5.
If using a container to weigh items, load the container onto the scale - the LCD
will display the weight of the container. Press and hold the [ZERO] button until
---- is displayed on the LCD then release the button. The LCD will display ‘0’. The
scale is now ready to weigh the “volume” contents only minus the weight of the
container.
