Kettle is not plugged in.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Check that kettle is plugged into
a working power outlet and turned on.

Kettle has become
noisy.

Descale is needed.

Purchase proprietary descaler and
complete descaling process as per
instructions on the product packaging.

Kettle does not
turn on.

Kettle on/off switch
not activated.

Push kettle switch in a downwards
motion. The power indicator light
should illuminate indicating the kettle
is now on.
