OPERATION
• Insert 4 x “AAA” batteries (not included) into battery holder at the back of
the scale. Open the cover, install the batteries following markings on base of
compartment, and close cover.
• Place the scale on hard and flat surface. A clean floor is best. Do not place on carpet
or other soft surfaces as accuracy may be compromised.
• Use “UNIT” button on back of unit to select “lb” pounds or “kg” kilograms”
• Step directly on the glass platform, stay still, and weight will display.
NOTE:
Initially, the display will flash. Once the flashing stops, your weight will display
for about 8 seconds. Then, the unit will switch off automatically.
• ”Err” showing on LCD indicates overload, surpassing the 400 pound weight limit of
this product.
• If the symbol “ “ appears as you step off the scale it means an error has occurred,
try again.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• To ensure accuracy, we suggest you take measurement at a fixed time every day
(e.g. 7:00pm-9:00pm).
• Change battery when ”LO” appears on the LCD which indicates that the battery is
running out of power.

16. Store batteries someplace out of direct sunlight where the temperature and
humidity are not high. Not doing so may cause the batteries to leak fluid,
overheat or explode. Also, it may cause the life and performance of the batteries
to decline.
