Connect a cable TV or RF pattern generator signal and set the RF sensitivity to 45 ~85dBµV. An
image should be displayed. If under 60dBµV, some snow noise is acceptable but there
should not be any color loss.
TV Channel Auto Scan
• The auto scan process should take less than 3 minutes.
• Pressing the “Menu” key should exit the TV channel scanning.
V-Chip & Close Caption Function Test
• Close Caption:
• Select “Close Caption” (In main picture OSD) to CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4, TT1, TT2, TT3, TT4.
• Using a FLUKE 54200 or VG848/858, test CC number 1, CC number 2, CC number 3, CC
number 4, CC number 5, CC number 6, CC number 7, CC number 8.
• Parental Control:
• Select the “Parental Control” in OSD and enter the password “0000”. Enter the TV
rating and setting all the rating to “LOCKED”.
• Using a FLUKE 54200 or VG848/858, test the CC Sequence, the image should be
locked and should show the “enter password” and rating message. After entering
the password and the image should display again.
Power Supply Tests
Power Consumption Test Table:
Audio Test
Connect a VGA audio input source to VGA audio input. The audio function of Balance, Bass,
and Treble should be working normally.
Connect AV1 & AV2 (AV & S-Video) audio input source to AV L/R audio input. The audio
function of Balance, Bass, and Treble should be working normally.
Connect Component 1 & 2 audio input source to Component 1 & 2 L/R audio input. The audio
function of Balance, Bass, and Treble should be working normally.
Audio Output Test: When each audio input has a source, then the audio output RCA jack
(L/R) should output 0.5Vrms (1.414Vp-p).
Note:
1. “Green” color for 00AAB, “Blue” color for 43AAB.

3. The power saving status is only for VGA / DVI PC mode (DMPS is on).
