Operation
Replacing the Soldering Tip
1. Always let the soldering iron cool down to room temperature before
touching the soldering tip or the heater. There is risk of burns!
2. Loosen the knurled screw by turning counter clockwise and remove
the sleeve. Remove the old soldering tip from the heater and slide
the new or cleaned soldering tip over the heater as far as it will go.
3. Fix the soldering tip to the soldering iron with the sleeve. Tighten
the knurled screw only by hand.
Maintenance and Cleaning
ƒ Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance, please pull the
power plug and allow the unit to fully cool down.
ƒ Use only a damp cloth to clean the unit. Do not use aggressive
chemicals or abrasives.
ƒ Replace worn or burnt soldering tips immediately to keep your
soldering iron in best condition. The correct soldering tips can be
