Operating
1. To switch on the air pressure gauge, press the ON button. Wait until
the display shows
0:00
. If you press the ON button once, the measuring
unit changes from BAR to kPa, and if you press again the measuring
unit changes to PSI. Select the desired measuring unit.
2. Press the air pressure gauge firmly on the valve of the object you want
to measure (car tyre, ball etc.) Make sure that air cannot flow out be-
tween the valve and the air pressure gauge.
3. After 1 – 2 seconds the air pressure is measured. See the result on the
display.
4. To switch the unit off, press and hold the ON button for approx. 5
seconds.
If the air pressure gauge is switched on and you do not measure for
more than 1 minute, the unit automatically switches off.
If you intend to measure e. g. car tyres, always measure them before
driving when they are still cold. So you will get the right result. The pres-
sure ratings of tyre manufacturers always refer to cold tyre temperature.
Changing the Battery
1. Unscrew both screws on the rear of the unit and carefully open the
housing.
2. Remove the spend battery and place new fresh one of the same type
and size (3 V – CR2032). Observe right polarity. (Plus pole has to face
up).
3. Close the housing again and secure both screws.
Conversion Examples
10 PSI = 0.7 Bar
1 Bar = 15 PSI
100 kPa = 1 Bar
20 PSI = 1.4 Bar
1.4 Bar = 20 PSI
30 PSI = 2.1 Bar
2 Bar = 29 PSI
