Safety Notes

ƒ

Only use the fireplace on a flat and heat-resistant surface outdoors.

ƒ

Use only Biofuel for lighting the fireplace. Store the fuel out of reach of

children.

ƒ

Keep children and pets out of reach of the fireplace. Never leave the

fireplace burning unattended not even for short time. Attention: Hot
Surface!

ƒ

Do not smoke during filling the safety burning container or when igniting the

fireplace. Always keep an appropriate distance to the fireplace while lighting.

ƒ

When filling the container make sure not to spill out the fuel or to spatter fuel

on clothes, hair etc.

ƒ

Do not move the fireplace while it is in use! First extinguish the flame and

allow the fireplace to cool down before carrying.

ƒ

Keep furniture, curtains, newspaper and other flammable material at least 30

cm away from the fireplace. Make sure to keep a distance of at least 1.50 cm
between the top of the fire and ceiling, lamps or other objects.

Preparation

1.  Take all parts of the fireplace out of the packaging. Remove transport material

end resp. foils from the unit. Do not use the fireplace if the unit itself or the
burning container is damaged.

2.  Place the base of the fireplace on a solid, level surface. First insert the

burning container into the fireplace and fill in with Biofuel. Be very careful
when filling. Take care to avoid spilling the fuel!

3.  After filling wait until the fleece soaks the fuel. Fill the container in several

steps until the container is full.

4.  Place the glass cylinder on the base and arrange the desired amount of

pebbles around the burning container.

Using

Preferably ignite the fuel with a bendable lighter, a BBQ lighter or a quick match
with long stem. Bendable lighter etc. can be ordered from Westfalia.

When igniting the fuel in the burning container first the flame is moderate. After
some minutes the burning container will produce an intense fire.
