Operation
Before first Use
Unpack the router and check all parts for any damage in transit. Dispose of
packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may
become a deadly toy for children.
Power Mains Connection
Make sure the mains voltage is the same as the operating voltage indicated on
the rating plate.
Switching ON/OFF
To operate the machine press and hold the safety button (2) and the the
ON/OFF switch (3) mounted in the right hand side handle.
Inserting the Milling Cutter
1. Pull the power plug before
undertaking any manipulations
on the machine.
2. Make sure that the collet and
the shank of the milling cutter
(10) are of the same size. The
machine is supplied with collets
for 6, 8 and 12 mm tool shafts.
3. Press the spindle lock (8) and
unscrew the collet nut (10) and
insert the milling cutter. The
milling cutter shank must be
inserted at least 20 mm into the
collet.
4. Press the spindle-lock (8) and tighten the collet nut tightly with the included
fork spanner. Never tighten the collet nut with the fork spanner without first
inserting a milling cutter.
5. Run machine up to full no load speed before using and watch out for
vibration or wobbling that could indicate unbalance.
